purchase of the Solarc® product line assets from
Welch Allyn on May 17, 2010. According to Keith

USHIO America Introduces New G12 Base Metal Halide Lamp for Aquariums and Reef Systems
(January 2010)
USHIO America introduces a NEW Aqualite™ G12 base
metal halide lamp for aquariums and reef systems.
The new single ended 150W lamp design in 14,000
Kelvin harnesses the ability to align the lamp to a
parabolic reflector axially, leading to more
efficient light collection and advanced fixture
designs.

USHIO America Introduces UDMR, a DMX/MIDI Recorder
(November 2009)
USHIO America, Inc., recently
introduced UDMR, a DMX/MIDI
recorder. UDMR enables coordination
of lighting (DMX), sound (MIDI) and
video performance (V-LINK), and
vastly reduces initial setup cost in
a wide variety of entertainment
venues. It can easily record and
playback DMX signals used for
controlling lighting equipment at a
high density sampling rate of 40Hz
per frame. The UDMR is ideal where
data changes are infrequent such as
amusement parks, shopping malls, and
LED lighting projects.
