CHEMICAL AND WATER TREATMENTS
|
Excimer VUV light sources enable targeted
photochemistry through the emission of intense,
spectrally selective radiation. The use of excimer
VUV light sources for chemical and water processes
has shown economically viable when the photochemical
process calls for spectrally selective radiation in
the VUV, other than that provided by inexpensive
low-pressure mercury lamps (253.65nm).
Electron Beam sources are effective in destroying
volatile organics.
