Laser-based six primary 3D is an alternative to lamp-based color separation. Two distinct wavelengths of red, green, and blue produce two unique images on the screen. Special filter glasses are worn that isolate each unique image to a separate eye – thereby creating the 3D effect and delivering uniform high contrast images. Laser based 3D immerses the audience in the action with breathtaking images and incredible color!
High-power Xenon projector lamps burn out after less than 1,000 hours of operation, costing exhibitors thousands of dollars per year in replacement lamps. Necsel lasers have demonstrated lifetime in excess of 30,000 hours without replacement, which is roughly 10 years of cinema life.
