Bricks intended for washing must always be in a disassembled state.
Washer-dryer should not be used for elements:
- That are not water-resistant, especially those containing electrical and pneumatic parts.
- Of significant size, which would hinder the free flow of bricks in the basket during the washing and drying process.
Graphics placed on the bricks may gradually deteriorate during the washing process, but to an extent no greater than during normal use or other washing methods. Some bricks may retain trace amounts of moisture on their surface immediately after the drying process.
Kooptech® LB-CW
The device is powered by a cold-water source only. The device is equipped with its own water heater for the bricks washing process.
Kooptech® LB-HW
The device requires power from two sources simultaneously: cold water and hot water. The device does not have its own water heater. A constant supply of hot water from a supply source of at least 113°F (45°C) is required.

ATTENTION!
Elements you should not place in the washing-drying baskets, which:
- Smallest dimension is less then 0.2in (5mm).
- Would prevent mixing the rest of bricks during washing cycle.
- Graphics placed on the bricks can be damaged after a while during washing process (as during normal usage due to rubbing and wear).

The purpose of the tests was to evaluate the following parameters of washing and drying of LEGO® play bricks:
- Efficiency of the process, washing and drying
- Abrasion of bricks’ surface during the process
- Additional wear and tear
Parameters:
- Tests were performed on typical unlabeled bricks.
- Hardness of water: below 8°dH.
- Ambient temperature of washing agent: 104F° (40C°).
- Drying temperature : 77F° (25C°).
- Dirtying” the bricks meant to dip basket with bricks in an ink filled container.
- 50 complete cycles were performed.

Cleaning Agents Specifically Designed for Cleaning LEGO® Play Bricks
- Liquids for cleaning and softening water are completely safe for LEGO® play bricks.
- The cleaning solution effectively remove types of dirt from the bricks.
- The water softening agent makes the drying process easier and freshens the brick’s surface, making them pleasant to the touch.
- Both liquids are fully biodegradable and environmentally safe.
- The liquids are safe for transportation – they do not contain phosphates.
- One set of washing detergent (10L) + water softener (5L) is enough to effectively wash and dry approx. 6,613.9lbs (3,000kg) of bricks.
